Hi Cowboys,
can't you get helmets in cowboy hat design ? would suit the occation.
Checked out the road bikes; just an easy ride along the Avon to Hagley Park to admire the Daffodils. Did I write easy ? my bum is sore ... no suspension, my neck is aching ... very aerodynamic position, but we've been close to light speed. Elmar is riding to work once a week so far, plan is twice a week.
Looked up your route in the atlas and estimated that you're about half way - righto?
We are very impressed about your stamina especially with daily outlook for wet feet (ich mag keine nassen Füsse).
